Townley Shuttle Service

Tyrer Bus are proud to be operating on behalf of Burnley Borough Council, a new bus service called Towneley Shuttle Service. The service began on Saturday 5th May 2007 and operates between Burnley Bus staion, Riverside Car Park & Towneley Hall itself.

The service will be operated by Low Floor Optare Solo's with the service operating on Saturdays, Sundays, Bank Holiday Mondays & School Holiday Tuesday. For more details please contact us.

Tyrer Bus as become the first operator it the Burnley & Pendle area to go Smart Card Live. NoWcard Holders will now  have to place their card onto the ticket machine, this will then allow the ticket machine to calculate the correct fare for the District that you card is from.
